Frostbite
In any ski resort, a sudden climate change can make frostbite a reality. The Land Instrument’s external temperature sensor gives accurate readings of ambient temperature transmitted every 5 seconds. Set your own alarms or activate the built-in frostbite alarm to warn you when temperatures drop below -10°C and ensure you are aware of when you are most at risk.
Avalanche
Avalanches are most likely to occur on snow covered slopes between 30 and 45 degrees. The Land Instrument enables you to check the inclination of the slope you are skiing and be warned if you are in a high risk area.
