The Oktopus II has a strong reference to its predecessor in the design of its case body, yet boasts a brand new case construction.Learn More
In exactly one week from today the largest watch event in Europe will open its doors to hundreds of thousands of visitors from all corners of the world. A particularly exciting year for us, marked by the launch of the SpidoSpeed featuring a new case construction and exhibiting in Hall 1 at BaselWorld. I believe we are off to a very good start!
Set for the debut of the SpidoSpeed chronograph, our stand is inspired and themed by this new model. I am also particularly honoured this year as a designer to be hosting some of the most iconic furniture in the history of Danish Design, courtesy of Fritz Hansen.
The Linde Werdelin stand will feature pieces from a few of the master furniture architects of the past, like Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm (great inspirations of mine and major contributors to architectural functionalism), and also from the likes of the modern ones such as Piero Lissoni, Kasper Salto and Hiromichi Konno all of who have worked for Fritz Hansen.
I will leave you the 3D design preview of our stand decorated with some of the greatest and most recognisable furniture from Fritz Hansen that in many ways have been an inspiration in designing the Linde Werdelin watches and instruments.
Hope to see you all in Basel!
