The Oktopus II has a strong reference to its predecessor in the design of its case body, yet boasts a brand new case construction.Learn More
December is usually a month for reflection however I find it more interesting to open 2011 with the highlights from last year and what is in store in the New Year.
In the first half of the year, we launched two models in their own respect but always under the particular style of LW pieces, the Oktopus Moonphase and Oktopus Tattoo. They are both artfully and meticulously crafted and priced at the top of our existing collection. The use of Frederic Piguet movements in these models signalled our commitment to producing interesting and unique timepieces.

In the second half of the year, The Reef finally hit the market after 5 long years’ blood, sweat and tears. We are over the moon about its launch. In addition, the increased interest in our watches for women led us to produce our first women’s model, The White Watch.

Looking into the New Year ahead, we are off to a very exciting start with our first launch in a week’s time! Perhaps you may have seen the teaser images below posted on various forums and blogs at the end of last year.
The new launch features a new case concept and construction as well as a new movement. It is a project we have been working on for the last couple of years and are thrilled that the time has come to finally share it with you.
Of course this will not be all you should expect to see from LW in 2011 but more fun and exciting news which we will share in detail with you here on The Lab.
Let 2011 be an absolutely great year for everyone!
