Colette in Paris is one of the, if not THE, most famous “concept stores” in the world, among the likes of 10 Corso Como in Milan, Restir in Tokyo, The Corner in Berlin, and OC Concept Store in NYC. Each has a cool and eclectic mix that is above trends and fashion. The über style set, global glitterati, locals, and tourists flock to Colette to see what is new and what is hot.

After that, I would continue down the same road until I hit Rue Boissy d'Anglas, take the left turning and find the Fornacetti corner at L’Eclaireur, devoted to Piero Fornasetti, the great and prolific 20th century object and furniture designer from Milan whose obsessive recreations of Lina Cavalieri's charming face appear on furniture, accessories and furnishings. I would browse the rest of L’Eclaireur and finish the walk fully energised with all the creativity in style.
